Routt County Treasurer Lane Iacovetto has been honored with the establishment of a new statewide award reflecting her name, the Lane Iacovetto Colorado County Treasurer & Public Trustee Democracy Award, according to a recent statement. The award was presented by fellow Colorado treasurers/trustees at the Colorado County Treasurers and Public Trustees Association during their annual conference in Steamboat Springs last week. “Throughout her term, Lane Iacovetto has exemplified the highest ideals of public service,” states the award description. “To have my fellow County Treasurers and Public Trustees establish an award in my name is an honor I never could have imagined,” she said. Iacovetto will be sworn in as president of the Colorado County Treasurers and Public Trustees Association in January 2027.
