Ranking Member on the Finance Committee of Parliament and a former Finance Minister, Dr Mohammed Amin AdamRanking Member on Parliament’s Finance Committee, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, has called for greater dialogue and consensus between the Majority and Minority sides of Parliament in the interest of Ghana. His comments followed the selection of James Agalga as Majority Leader, with Dr Amin Adam congratulating the Builsa North MP and expressing confidence in his ability to lead the Majority caucus. Dr Amin Adam said Mr Agalga’s extensive experience in Parliament and government had prepared him for the demands of parliamentary leadership, while praising his intellectual ability and debating skills. Dr Amin Adam said he believed stronger engagement between the Majority and Minority leadership could help Parliament build consensus on issues of national importance.
