A woman riding an electric scooter was taken to the hospital on Sunday after a crash with a Miami deputy's cruiser, authorities said. According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, at around 4:30 a.m., a cruiser was involved in a traffic collision with the woman who was riding the electric scooter in the area of Northwest 54th Street and 19th Avenue. An investigation into the crash remains active.
