Shaun Maloney has confirmed Celtic’s transfer plans have not changed despite Martin O’Neill’s absence from the dugout this week. The Celtic boss has still remained involved behind the scenes, though, including speaking with chief executive Michael Nicholson about the club’s transfer work. While there has been no fresh breakthrough, Maloney made clear that O’Neill’s health situation has not changed the players Celtic are looking at. That gives a clearer picture of how Celtic have continued working during O’Neill’s recovery. For now, though, Celtic’s list of targets remains unchanged and the transfer process is continuing as normal, even with O’Neill temporarily away from his usual matchday role.
