In 2025, 9.8 billion passengers traveled by plane, and over 106 million of them went through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), according to the Airports Council International.
However, despite being the world's busiest airport every year since 1998 (excluding 2020), Atlanta isn't the worst major airport in Georgia for cancellations.

10 on the list of most flight cancellations in the U.S., with 2.07% cancelled, according to Insure My Trip.
