A former New Hampshire State Trooper faces a deferred prison sentence for making false reports to police about GPS devices he used to track his girlfriend.
A state investigation found that Lamoureux placed GPS tracking devices both on his own vehicle and a vehicle used by his then-girlfriend.
Lamoureux will immediately resign from the state police force and surrender his law enforcement certification, according to the AG’s office.
He will be placed on the national registry of decertified officers and be prohibited from future employment as a law enforcement officer.
