Four school learners died this week – South Africa mourns

School communities across South Africa are mourning the deaths of four learners, with families, classmates and teachers left grappling with devastating losses. The school remembered Cameron as a talented sportswoman who excelled in rowing and netball. A memorial service at Pinelands High School will give members of the school community an opportunity to remember and honour the young learner. Neema Parusia MuhigirwaWynberg Girls’ High School is mourning the death of 18-year-old Grade 11 learner Neema Parusia Muhigirwa. Earlier this year, Wynberg Girls’ High School awarded Neema the Class of 1952 Honour Plate, recognising her courage, tenacity and determination.
