ADILABAD: International Adivasi Day was observed across the erstwhile Adilabad district on Sunday. Various Adivasi organisations, district officials and ITDA officials organised the events on the occasion. Addressing the occasion at various places, Adivasi leaders took the oath to fight for their rights on Jal, Jangal and Jameen. Collector Rajarshi Shah, SP Akhil Mahajan, ITDA project officer Manda Makarandu and Adivasi leaders attended the program in Utnoor. He appealed to the state and central governments to take steps to protect the constitutional rights of Adivasis
