Sajjanar on Sunday inspected the security arrangements at Lal Darwaja Sri Simhavahini Mahankali Ammavari Temple on the occasion of Ashada Masa Bonalu. After performing a special puja to the goddess, he greeted women devotees on the festival and assured them that the police had been deployed for their safety and security. For the protection of devotees, crime teams have been deployed and picketing arranged at the temples, Sajjanar said. Speaking to the media, Sajjanar said security arrangements had been made for 48 hours in the surrounding areas of the temple to ensure peaceful celebrations. He explained that the latest AI technology was being used to maintain law and order, with AI cameras constantly monitoring to quickly identify thieves and chain snatchers.
