Following her opening remarks at St Michael’s Theatre, Byrne Nason will take part in a fireside discussion with Professor Mary C Murphy, Director of the Irish Institute at Boston College, AzerNEWS reports, citing businessplus.ie. The discussion will be introduced by Kennedy Summer School chair Eileen Dunne and will mark the return of the Irish Institute at Boston College to the festival, continuing a tradition associated with the late Bob Morrow. She has also held diplomatic postings in Paris and Brussels during a distinguished career with Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs. The recital will be followed by a drinks reception in the courtyard of St Michael’s Theatre.
