Harry Bloor followed up his TCR UK debut win in Race 2 with a second consecutive win in Race 3 while the main title contenders struggled. But just as in the second race, Shepherd struggled in the early stages of the race and had to defend the lead from Newsham’s attacks. Newsham’s attempt was however unsuccessful, instead allowing Bloor to go past for second place at the end of lap two, with Hart following suit a couple of corners later. The Brit managed to complete the final lap without losing any positions to finish the race in fourth. The next TCR UK race takes place at the GP layout of Donington Park on September 5-6.
