SRINAGAR: Mumbai batter Sarfaraz Khan has returned to India’s Test squad after 20 months, replacing the injured B. Sai Sudharsan for the upcoming two-Test series against Sri Lanka, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said on Sunday. The 28-year-old was part of India’s squad for the 2024-25 tour of Australia but did not play a match. He was later left out of the squad for India’s Test tour of England last year. The two-Test series against Sri Lanka is scheduled to begin on August 15, with the first Test to be played in Galle. India’s Test squad is led by Shubman Gill and includes KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, Dhruv Jurel, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Manav Suthar, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Gurnoor Brar, Devdutt Padikkal, Saransh Jain, Auqib Nabi and Sarfaraz Khan.
