AdvertisementTHE Irish Hospital Foundation (IHF) is seeking participants in Limerick to take part in a research project that will examine and communicate end-of-life experiences through a photographic medium. ‘Photovoice’ is a research method that combines photography and storytelling, aiming to give voices to underrepresented groups. Over 1,300 people died in Limerick last year, highlighting the importance of ensuring end-of-life experiences are understood and reflected in health and social care services. Project organisers say they are looking for people, broadly, in the last 12 to 18 months of life, who will share photos of objects, symbols, and scenes important to them.
