Botley Farmer – William Cobbett’s Hampshire Years, 1804–1820 explores the middle years of political journalist and campaigner William Cobbett, best known for his political journalism and his fight against corruption in the English government. A long-time member of the William Cobbett Society in Farnham, Mr Chun has spent 12 years researching and writing about Cobbett through articles. Mr Chun said: "The two things happened in parallel, but it was the next logical step to write a book about Cobbett after writing a book about Hamlet. William Cobbett remains an influential figure in English political history, known for his powerful journalism and his campaign against government corruption.
