Fire crews were called to the incident in Puriton, near Bridgwater, at around 5.03pm on Saturday, August 8 of this year. The stations in attendance included Bovey Tracey, Danes Castle, Clyst St George, Taunton, Bridgwater, Glastonbury, Nether Stowey, Street, Castle Cary, and Cheddar. While they were tackling the blaze, residents were advised to keep their windows and doors closed. A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "This is a commercial property fire in a bin store, minibus and 16 acres of grassland measuring 575 metres by 290 metres. "The bin store and minibus are 100 per cent damaged by fire.
