ADVERTISEMENTHeidi Fairchild, executive director of Sexual Assault Services Minnesota, said they’re always accepting more — with a pronounced need and preference for larger sizes.
“It's moved on to everybody supporting victims of sexual assault,” Fairchild said.
Donated high heels fill one of the containers at the Sexual Assault Services office in Brainerd on July 29, 2026.
The shoes will be available to wear in the Walk A Mile in Her Shoes event on Aug. 15.
“Whether it's domestic violence, sexual assault, substance abuse — we're a community that has a lot of nonprofit, which is great.
