According to MBI, officers responded to a call in the area of Church Station Parkway in Byhalia after a female occupant of a residence reported that another female occupant had been shot. When officers arrived at the scene, investigators said the subject began firing at responding officers. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is gathering evidence and assessing the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
