Officers received a report of disorder at an address on Bowling Green Lane, Newport, at around 9pm. At 9.11pm, police received a report of teenagers behaving anti-socially at Newport Bus Station. Police confirmed a 15-year-old boy from Ventnor was arrested on suspicion of using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour to cause harassment/alarm/distress, violent disorder, and assaulting an emergency worker. He was then arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A and Class B drugs, police said. A 14-year-old boy from Ryde was also arrested on suspicion of common assault and violent disorder.
