Last week, when Joe was kidnapped in the Lioness season 3 premiere, Zoe Saldaña’s character screamed, “I’m blackjacked! I’m blackjacked!” Episode 2 bounces from one of the attacks at Joe’s house to the next as if they were, as Kaitlyn puts it, “unfolding in real time.” Back in Kaitlyn’s car, she tries to take control of the situation while Joe’s family freaks out at home. The rest of episode 2’s run time is spent with Joe’s family.
