BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont and other New England states are seeking to mend the relationship with our neighbors to the north. This weekend, Vermont is hosting various New England governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers. “The New England states in particular are welcoming to them, we feel as though they are our neighbors, friends and neighbors, and we welcome them back. And we should go to them as well, I think that’s important,” he said at a press conference last week. Governors and Canadian Premiers will be answering questions from members of the press on Monday.
