The family of Orlando Diaz Jr. is still trying to come to terms with his violent death. The 20-year-old man was shot and killed while in his car just before 10 p.m. along the 1700 block of Brill Street in the city's Frankford section on February 2, 2026. His family says that Orlando was on his way to pick up his girlfriend from work when it happened. "We want to know why people basically robbed him, why they had to shoot," says his family member.
