Crossfire is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, and follows a mercenary, Layla, who must work alongside the antagonistic Cross to survive. Besides armed human operators, which is where the cover system shines, they also need to deal with an “existential threat.” The reveal trailer showcases zombies, but they may just be one part of the puzzle.
