Kingdom Hearts fans got more than they bargained for, that too during Nintendo Direct of all places, when a new trailer was revealed for the fourth mainline entry. And even if Kingdom Hearts 4 doesn’t have a release date (at least officially), it’s coming to Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Odds initially seemed low, but as noted by Kingdom Hearts Insider, the D23 app lists the profiles of three key individuals: Square Enix’s Tai Yasue and actors Haley Joel Osment and David Gallagher. Yasue is the standout because he’s a co-director on Kingdom Hearts 4. But as it stands, Kingdom Hearts 4 is making steady progress after all these years.
