Three men have been charged to court following their arrests during a significant public safety operation in Derry yesterday. The annual Apprentice Boys of Derry Relief parade took place, with over 13,000 people participating in the event and 127 bands in attendance. He was subsequently charged with behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace and doing a provocative act. Meanwhile, a 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of common assault and disorderly behaviour following an incident on Limavady Road shortly after 5.40pm. He has been charged with common assault, disorderly behaviour, and resisting police, and is due to appear before Derry Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
