CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Union Township trustees will host a public forum this month to update residents on plans for a new emergency medical services facility in the township, according to the Union Township Fire Department. The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, at Union Township Fire Station 1, 12034 Pleasant Valley Road. Officials said the open forum will give township residents a chance to learn more about the project, hear directly from trustees and ask questions about the planned facility. Union Township, home to about 12,530 residents according to the 2020 census, is an unincorporated community spanning roughly 67 square miles in the northern part of Ross County.
