A receptionist at a Dundee hotel was headbutted four times by a drunken guest who demanded to know the whereabouts of his fed-up partner. Barrett was hit with a sizeable fine after pleading guilty at Dundee Sheriff Court to the single charge of assault to injury. “A short time after, the accused returned and waited at reception until the complainer re-attended. “The accused headbutted him four times, which connected with the complainer’s face and he punched him once, striking him to the face.” Barrett, of Aberdeen, previously admitted assaulting the man to his injury at Premier Inn, Kingsway West, on January 26 2025.
