The event will return in September, bringing a programme of authors, live performances and creative events to the town. It has been confirmed that the festival will take place from Thursday, September 24 until Sunday, September 27. The full programme is due to be launched on Monday, August 10, with further details about this year's line-up set to be revealed. Tidelines Book Festival runs literary events across Ayrshire throughout the year alongside its annual festival. Ahead of the main event, authors Val McDermid and Jo Sharp will appear at the Harbour Arts Centre as part of a Tidelines Tasters event on Thursday, August 20.
