Galbraith previously pleaded guilty to a charge of being the owner of the dog whilst it was "dangerously out of control".
Defending, solicitor Stephanie Green argued that a disqualification order was also not required.
The lawyer stated that Galbraith had no intention of owning another dog after losing Bruno, who was purchased at a time of tragic personal circumstances.
"A disqualification order is not necessary.
However, Sheriff Morag Fraser opted to impose a disqualification order which forbids Galbraith from owning a dog for a period of two years.
