Karachi Police have formed a five-member committee to investigate the killing of Mir Raza Ali following the exhumation of his body for a post-mortem. According to a notification issued on Sunday, DIG Amir Farooqi will head the committee, while SSP Rapid Response Force (RRF) Ali Raza will serve as secretary. Other members include SP Investigation Korangi Qais Khan, Central SP Investigation Anum Tajammul and an officer from the Special Investigation Unit (SIU), Zaman Town. The committee has been directed to examine all aspects of the case, review the investigation conducted so far and determine the circumstances surrounding Ali’s death.
