A fireworks display will be held at 8pm on Sunday at Islamabad’s New Blue Area to celebrate the Makkah Defence Agreement between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Türkiye.
Organised by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Islamabad Capital Territory Administration, the event is being billed as a celebration of unity, faith and brotherhood among the three countries.
The promotional material features the national flags of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Türkiye and highlights their cooperation under the defence agreement.
The New Blue Area, one of Islamabad’s major commercial hubs, will host the public event, with residents and visitors expected to attend the fireworks display.
The programme comes as the three brotherly states seek to deepen cooperation in areas of shared interest and is intended to publicly highlight their growing ties and defence partnership.
