France international Lucas Digne has completed a move from Aston Villa to European champions Paris St-Germain. Digne, who joined Villa from Everton in 2022, spent three years with PSG at the start of his career. The Frenchman joins a PSG side which have won the Champions League twice in succession, most recently after beating Arsenal on penalties in the 2026 final. The left-back was part of a Villa side which won the Europa League last season - the club's first piece of silverware since 1996. He is the third senior departure from Villa Park this season, following the exits of Morgan Rogers to Chelsea and Youri Tielemans to Manchester United.
