Yuriorkis Gamboa is bringing an Olympic resume and a long pro-boxing career into the BKB Trigon at BKB 58 in Miami on August 29. At the 2004 Athens Olympics, Gamboa won flyweight gold for Cuba at 51 kilograms. Yuriorkis Gamboa knows what it takes to adapt to bare knuckle. The Cuban veteran built a 23-0 record before meeting Terence Crawford for the WBO lightweight title in 2014. Gamboa stayed active at a high level afterward, fighting Gervonta Davis for the WBA lightweight title in 2019 and Devin Haney for the WBC lightweight title in 2020.
