Standing next to Rigby is Kik Nielsen, Lord High Chancellor of the Royal Rosarians of Portland. The Royal Rosarians’ Rose Planting ceremony honored Hattie Wise, Astoria Regatta Queen of 1908, at the Herman and Sarah Wise home owned by Daniel Moore. Kik Nielsen, Lord High Chancellor of the Royal Rosarians, was enthused to be in attendance. He contacted us and said it would mean a great deal to him if the Royal Rosarians came to Astoria.”
