CRASH WEST OF HARRISONVILLE INJURES SEDALIA MAN

A Sedalia man suffered serious injuries after the pickup he was a passenger in ran off a roadway west of Harrisonville on Saturday, Aug. 8.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 43-year-old was a passenger in a pickup that a 43-year-old man from Florissant was driving along South Peculiar Drive, three miles west of Harrisonville.
Troopers say that just before 10 p.m., the truck went off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree, then overturned.
The two men were both taken to a Kansas City area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Troopers also noted that neither man was wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
