Transcorp Hilton Abuja has unveiled a new padel court as part of efforts to expand its hospitality offerings, attract more customers and promote sports development and wellness in the Federal Capital Territory. Speaking at the ceremony, the Managing Director and CEO Transcorp Hotels PLC, Mrs Uzoamaka Oshogwe, said the decision to establish the court followed requests from guests. According to her “We listened to our guests and we heard what they were requesting, and that was the padel court. The General Manager of Transcorp Hilton Abuja, Martin Zarybnicky, said the court could help identify and develop young sporting talent capable of competing at national and international levels. The new facility has also opened the door to possible collaboration between Transcorp Hilton and the Nigeria Union of Journalists, FCT Council.
