MOGADISHU — The Banadir Regional Education Directorate has announced the results of the 2025 Middle School Certificate Examination, following the completion of the marking and assessment process. According to figures released by the Directorate, 45,452 students sat the examination across Banadir Region during the 2025 academic year. The results indicate that 44,017 students passed the examination, while 1,435 candidates were unsuccessful, representing a failure rate of approximately 3.2 percent. Education officials said the awards were intended to encourage the students to maintain their academic performance as they progress to secondary education. The annual middle school examination is an important stage in the education system, marking the completion of intermediate-level studies and determining students’ progression to secondary school.
