Amazon's God of War series might have found a new lead actor after previous Kratos actor Ryan Hurst had to exit the show due to reportedly tearing a bicep while performing a stunt in late June. Although Hurst had been filming for four months, it was allegedly decided that the role would need to be recast — especially as the plan is to film two seasons back-to-back. Now Deadline is reporting that Guardians of the Galaxy actor Dave Bautista is in negotiations to take over as the brutal warrior. The series will follow Kratos as he flees from the ghosts of his past and tries to start a new life in Scandinavia.
