Amdocs and Lumen Technologies are pushing their cloud modernization partnership into new territory. The two companies have already shifted parts of Lumen’s business onto Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure, and now they are turning their focus to AWS. Amdocs says it can shrink that planning work, the kind that usually drags on for months, down to a matter of days. Sulabh Sood, Lumen’s Vice President of Cloud Transformation, called the AWS extension another step in a cloud transformation effort the company has clearly been running for some time. Neither company put a timeline or financial terms on the AWS phase of the work.
