Richardson/Marshall News Messenger)The City of Marshall and the Greater Marshall Chamber of Commerce will celebrate upgrades to Smith Park with a special ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. Monday. The contractor for the Smith Park improvement project was Casey Slone Construction of Hallsville. The city council paid Casey Slone Construction $174,239, Assistant City Manager Alex Agnor said during a recent city council meeting.
