Nancy Carol McLaughlin (Bevan), 79, of New Brighton, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 08, 2026, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 30, 1947, Rochester, PA, to the late Thomas Charles Bevan and Dorothy Matilda Bevan. She met the love of her life and soul mate, Raymond “Ray” Hugh McLaughlin, at the New Brighton swimming pool off Junction Stretch, where Ray worked as a lifeguard. To support her family, Nancy returned to work as a bank teller at Peoples Home Savings Bank in Chippewa. Nancy will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a fighter who gave more than she ever took.
