Gyan Tiwari, the MLA from Sevata, said he filed a complaint after discovering that his son-in-law, Prakhar Trivedi, was allegedly involved in a wider pattern of fraud. The police have since arrested Prakhar and his father, Anuj Trivedi, in connection with the matter, as reported by PTI. The police have confirmed that a case has been registered against Anuj Trivedi on charges of cheating, and legal proceedings are underway. Both Anuj and Prakhar Trivedi have been taken into custody as part of the investigation. Tiwari has demanded strict action against the accused, even calling for the death penalty for Anuj Trivedi.
