Indore: The two elder brothers of Raja Raghuvanshi, who was allegedly murdered by his wife and others during their honeymoon in Meghalaya in 2025, have been taken into custody by the police on charges of illegally serving liquor at their eatery. The action was taken after the police found that liquor was allegedly being served to customers at the establishment without the required licence. The five have been arrested as a precautionary measure under Section 170 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). The police have registered a case under the Excise Act over the alleged illegal serving of liquor at the eatery, the ACP said. The case was registered after the establishment allegedly failed to provide information to police.
