New Delhi: The Opposition is preparing to oppose Centre’s Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026. The bill is expected to be tabled in the Parliament this week. The amendment, according to reports, would strengthen the government’s control over foreign-funded assets in case organisations lose their registration. “If the government is not ready to withdraw the bill, then it should send it to a JPC,” she added, reported HT. Congress asked all INDIA bloc allies to ensure that their MPs remain present on the three days, PTI reported.
