Mona McSharry goes back to the scene of her greatest moment this week looking to pen her latest memorable chapter. It was in Paris two years ago where McSharry, of the Marlins Swimming Club in Ballyshannon, won a bronze medal at the Olympic Games. In the 200m event, McSharry set her new Irish record and Championship best of 2:22.22. In 2024, McSharry joined an elite pantheon when winning bronze in the 100m breaststroke at the Olympic Games in Paris.
