Two of Finn Harps' Academy sides were winners of the Galway Cup over the weekend. Both the boys' 2013 and 2014 teams found success in a dominant display. The 2013 boys side lifted the Galway Cup Elite after a 3-0 win over Loughgall Youth. Meanwhile the 2014 boys team won the Galway Cup after beating Freebooters FC 2-0 in their final. Harps' Abdulai Mansaray also claimed the Player of the Tournament award, after scoring six goals for the 2014 team across the tournament on their way to the cup win.
