The duo of Jon Armstrong and Shane Byrne have claimed victory in the Grampian Forest Rally in Scotland. They won in their M-Sport prepared Ford Fiesta R2 by 9.3 seconds over fellow Ford pairing Romet Jurgenson and Siim Oja of Estonia. Nice to get our first ever gravel rally victory here at the Grampian," Armstrong said after the rally. Armstrong and Bruckless native Byrne are in the middle of their maiden WRC season, and currently sit 13th in the overall standings. In three weeks Armstrong and Byrne will jet off to South America to contest Rally Paraguay in their next WRC outing.
