The Missouri Department of Transportation has delayed the start of a preventative maintenance project for Route 135 through Cooper County. The work from the intersection with Interstate 70 west of Boonville to the Pettis County line west of Clifton City will now begin Wednesday. Seal-coating of the roadway will take place Aug. 12-15, with traffic reduced to one lane and flag crews directing motorists through the work zone. Ramp closures at Interstate 70’s Exit 98 that were previously scheduled for Thursday will now take place Friday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The latest road closures and delays can be found on MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map.
