A truck driver was found dead inside his lorry at Bonje Shell in Samburu Sub-County, Kwale County, in an incident police are treating as a sudden death. The driver was reportedly found leaning on the steering wheel of the lorry and did not respond when called or touched. Meanwhile, a total of 16 people were killed in separate road accidents in the country on Saturday night. The victims included eight riders, six pedestrians, a driver and a passenger, police said. Police said at least 30 people were injured in the accidents reported and they included 11 pillion passengers, six pedestrians, six riders, four passengers and two drivers.
