We will be looking at a murder from 1912, involving a vicar and his wife. A vicar was charged with the murder of his wife after a House of Commons shooting. In 1912, Herefordshire vicar Samuel Henry was charged with the murder of his wife, Bertha Mary Henry, after previously making headlines for firing a revolver in the House of Commons lobby in Westminster. In April, a maid at Henry's house, Moreton Lodge in Eye, aroused a neighbour saying her mistress was dead. An inquest held in April heard that Henry had been taken into custody.
