Thirteen years after the rape allegations against former Tehelka editor Tarun Tejpal first emerged, his daughter Cara Tejpal has alleged that the case was part of an attempt to silence him. Her statement came days after the Bombay High Court overturned his acquittal and sentenced him to 10 years in prison.
